Dr. Ayana Walls
A child’s voice often goes unheard amidst the chaos of everyday life.
My goal is to assist children and parents on their journey of self-discovery and healing. I specialize in the joint exploration of trauma, depression, self-harm, sexual identity, behavior misconduct, eating disorders, and suicidality.
My commitment to the principles of respect, integrity, dignity, and compassion are strong. Foundational to building our therapeutic relationship is the establishment of safety. Working together with me, you’ll feel safe because I am non-judgmental and accepting.
Partnering with me will mean gaining new perspectives, insight, problem-solving skills, and emotional control. My goal is to empower my clients to move towards increased independence and adaptive behaviors in order to overcome life’s adversities.
Transformation is scary, and it does not come without obstacles; however, you can move from confusion to understanding with guided persistence. Together, we can work to give you a greater sense of internal peace as you achieve psychological freedom.
